Hello! I'm Darcy Ramsdell, and I'm a speech-language pathologist based in Wells, Maine. As an SLP, I am passionate about helping children with speech and language disorders as well as children with literacy challenges. I believe that every client is unique and I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment where my clients feel comfortable working to improve their communication and/or literacy skills.

With both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees earned from the University of New Hampshire, coupled with over a decade of experience as a speech-language pathologist, I bring extensive expertise to my practice. My master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, with a concentration in language and literacy, underscores my commitment to excellence in addressing speech, language, and literacy challenges to children in the Southern Maine area.

In my practice, I take a client-centered, evidence-based approach to therapy. I believe in collaborating with my clients and their families to develop individualized treatment plans that address their unique needs and goals. I am dedicated to staying up-to-date with the latest research and techniques in the field of speech therapy, and I regularly attend workshops and conferences to expand my knowledge and skills.

During my leisure hours, enjoy being at my Wells home with my husband and children. I find joy in sipping my first cup of coffee in the morning. I love delving into a captivating book and enjoy running and walking for exercise. I find solace in being outdoors and feeling the sun when the weather is warm. Being near the water, whether it’s the ocean or lake, brings me a sense of contentment and inner peace.
